Returns & Refunds
At GiftingPaperie, we want you to be delighted with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, you may return most items for a refund under the conditions outlined in this policy.
Returns Period
You have 30 calendar days from the date you receive your item to initiate a return.
Conditions for Return
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition you received it: unused, in its original packaging, and with all tags attached. Please include any proof of purchase, such as the original order confirmation or packing slip.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items are exempt from being returned. These include perishable goods, custom-made or personalized items, and items marked as final sale. Please also note that gift cards are non-returnable.
Return Process
To start a return, please contact us to request a return authorization. We will guide you through the simple process and provide the necessary instructions for sending your item back to us.
You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to an error on our part or a defective item. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee we will receive your returned item.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you regarding the status of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed automatically to your original payment method within a standard number of business days. Please note that your bank or credit card company may require additional time to process and post the refund to your account.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund within the expected timeframe, please first check your bank account again and contact your credit card company, as processing times can vary. If you have done this and still have not received your refund, please contact us for further assistance.
Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. The fastest way to ensure you get the item you want is to return the original item for a refund, and then place a new order for the desired item once the return is initiated.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately. We will arrange for a return and provide a prepaid return label if applicable. Upon receipt of the returned item, we will send out the correct replacement or process a full refund.
Sale Items
Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Items purchased on sale or at a discount are eligible for return; however, they will be refunded at their final sale price.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return upon receipt of the returned item.
